この前、RUPとかのプロセスじゃ駄目で、agileにやらないとみたいな話をしてくれた方がいらっしゃいました。内容はとても面白かったのですが、私はどうもよく理解できていないようです。
agileっていうのは心構えと言うか理念のようなもので、プロセスとは直交する考え方なのではないかと思いますがどうなのでしょうか。
そう言えば、私の参加しているバンド名は“なんとなくクリスタルクリア”というふざけた名前（暫定）なのですが、crystalでagileなプロセスを作れるかどうかはagileな精神が共有されている土壌があるかどうかであって、“アジャイルプロセス”というものがあるという考えだとすると微妙な気がしています。
私は仕事をagileにやっているつもりだし、顧客にもそうした方がいいと持ちかけている節はありますが、agileを前面に打ち出した“アジャイルプロセス”の導入コンサルというのは難しいのではないでしょうか。
長期的な視点で見てくれる顧客であれば組織開発やチーム育成などの路線でいくのもありかもしれませんが、プロジェクトを今まさに始めようとしているプロマネに対する支援とした場合、あまりにも興味や時間軸がずれてしまう気がするので、その路線でコンサルをやるとしたらきついものがあるんじゃないかと思いました。
